Blood of a new one

I got to my knees struggling to keep my balance, "You will regret attacking me human." I stood, wobbling on my two new legs. The man laughed and kicked me back onto the muddy forest floor "A insignificant infant like you can do nothing. You can barely stand on two legs you are so weak!" I looked down at my body, unfamiliar and twisted in my eyes."I know i can't fight him," I thought "but i might be able to flee."

My body began moving towards this man without my command, and i began to panic."What is happening?" "Are you surrendering yourself to me beast? Well then, come to your new master!" He opened his my arms wide ready to embrace me. "i want to run away from him, not towards!" I screamed at my body. But it didn't respond, it approached the man and he wrapped his arms around me, chuckling in triumph. 

"Now my prize, we shall go to your new home." My body raised a clawed hand and raked it's nails down his side. He released me and screamed out in pain as he fell  to the forest floor. My body slowly followed, dragging it's feet to his location. The man reached into his jacket pocket and pulled out a large needle, "That was a dirty trick, but i am still taking you with me. I will not let you escape!" "I have to protest" I managed to whisper. 

My body dashed forward and slammed into the man, knocking him down again. This time, my body didn't stop. It teared and clawed at the man's chest as if it was trying to reach the dirt just beneath him. I felt horrified. "is this what i am supposed to do?" I wondered. A stabbing pain ran up my arm and i could feel my body beginning to slow, i glanced at my arm an found a needle poking out.  The man below me gargled a chuckle as he coughed up blood and sputtered his last words "Gottcha." 

I shook my head, for the first time i felt restless..."these leaves look comforting" i thought. Then i fell...
